Does this course cover how to buy celiac-safe food and avoid cross-contact?

No, but being able to do both of these things is a prerequisite to this course as nothing in this course matters if you’re not appropriately staying gluten-free. If celiac safety is not yet routine, I strongly suggest starting with my Celiac Crash Course first).

I have other food allergies and intolerances, will this course help me?

This course does not specifically discuss the ways other food restrictions (aside from a vegan and dairy-free diet) impact nutrition with celiac. That said, I give a lot of varied food sources of different nutrients, meal ideas, recipes, etc. of which many will likely still be suitable for you but this will be at your own discretion.

Will this course treat my diagnosed nutrient deficiencies?

No, this course is not to substitute the 1:1 care between your and your healthcare team but rather provide you with general education on nutrition topics as they relate to celiac. We will discuss common nutrient deficiencies and gaps that occur with celiac and ways to support them. However, ultimately, treatment for this is between you and your healthcare team and I make no guarantees.

Does this course guarantee I will heal my gut?

No, this course is not to substitute the 1:1 care between your and your healthcare team but rather provide you with general education on nutrition topics as they relate to celiac. Some of these topics will include supporting gut health, however, it is not to be mistaken as treatment. Additionally, while some information might support healing, celiac is complex and in very rare cases, healing is not possible.

I'm vegan will this course help?

While this course is not specifically focused on balancing a vegan diet with celiac disease, I do cover common nutrient gaps that may occur related to going vegan and offer many vegan examples, meal ideas, snack ideas, etc.
